Hello from İcilli Secondary School!
My seventh graders and I are motivated to work together with our project members!
I've added my students to TwinSpace. Let's get started.
Our first online meeting with all project members has taken place. The project founders provided information about the project and everybody introduced her/himself. It was a pleasure to get to know everyone.
Parental permission was granted for the contribution of students to the project.
Our school is located in the Black Sea Region in Giresun/Turkey. It is a village school which is 30 minutes away from Bulancak, the second biggest district in Giresun. We share the same school building with İcilli Primary School. There are 11 teachers in both schools in total. And there is only one class for each grade level.

I'm Özlem Güneş Şenoğlu from Giresun. I'm an English teacher at İcilli Secondary School. My school is a small village school and I love my students. I graduated from Middle East Technical University in 2015 and I did my master degree in Gazi University in 2018. I have been teaching for 7 years.

October has started, so did out activities!
We have completed our first activity. Students have introduced themselves. They provided information about their appearance and personality but there was a twist! Some information are intentionally provided incorrect. We will guess which ones these are. Here are students' texts.

Our third October activity!
While one student reads out loud a description of one of the persons whose images are on the board, the students on the board have to guess who is introduced and tap on his/her image. The one who finds the person of concern, gets a point for his/her team.

In November we prepared a presentation about the way we live by using google slides. Here are images from the process and our result:
We learned vocabulary items related to the weather, foods and daily routines. Then we wrote texts about our daily routines and lives. Finaally, the put into practice what we learned in te process of preparing our slides. Each students was given a topic for our presentation and each student created a slided individually.
